Healthy Kids Day Program is on Saturday, April 18th, starting at 10am and ends at 1pm Police will be here for the whole day to fingerprinting youth and do bicycle helmet inspections.  Lt. Ted Makauskas is the officer who will be with us for the day. 735-3314 Lancaster General is providing a Healthy Eating seminar for the parents from 10:15 until 10:45.  The seminar is a three pronged message live tobacco free, eat healthy, and exercise  After the seminar they will set up to take blood pressure and answer questions people may have.  LGH has also offered to provide the healthy snack for kids.  Contact is Andrea Hostetter 544-5035 During the seminar the kids will be participating in Zumba class.  Zumba is a combination of Latin and hip hop music with a choreographed dance routine.  After the class the kids will have a healthy snack.  Lancaster Bike Shop has donated two helmets to raffle to the kids. From 11-12 we will have more games and activities for the kids.  Tables set up in the youth center for Camp Shand, after school programs, summer day camp, swim programs, LGH, and any other programs that would like to advertise during Healthy Kids Day. There will be a tour of the building offered for any potential members. 12 to 1 we will have the pool open for family swim time. Barnstormers are going to have some players and/or the coaches come over and make a guest appearance.  Working on acquiring a game package for the Barnstormer pre-season game beginning at 1:30 on the 18th.
